1983年出生的路易卡瑞，父是法知名演菲利普卡瑞（2006金影展曾他做演），母和祖父也都是知名演，教父更是「法新浪潮」赫赫有名的代表巨星尚皮耶李（【四百】、【日以作夜】），自影世家的背景，他早早就踏入影圈，6就始在父的影中演出。
2003年演出大演托奇的【巴黎初】部跨作，他了知名度；【安那其人】是另一特的，除了和【巴黎小情歌】女主角之一可洛蒂德艾姆早在本片就已合作，更是卡瑞一家三代共同的影（父，祖父母也一演出），家人的助下，果然他表更加精湛，一拿下去年法最具力男演。更他在法影的地位水船高，被德、文森培瑞之後，法新一代性感男星代表。
【巴黎小情歌】是卡瑞演克里斯多夫第三度的作品，前部影【花都舞曲】、【母，情的限度】合作愉快的，卡瑞一得知演拍新片，便欲。原本演根想到要找卡瑞演出伊斯一角，因演根本不得卡瑞唱歌，直到到卡瑞口唱出片中的歌曲後，才此角非他莫。於演出片中宛如「人迷」的伊斯，俊高挑的卡瑞，然不是事，他在洲不是少女心中的白王子，也是同志最，魅力庸置疑。最困的是在於演出要搭配先好的歌曲表演，要表出演唱的子，於初次演影的他，是一大考。不他精湛的，在影片推出後，得一致的好，他更加坐法新生代男星的「一哥」座。

Louis Garrel (born June 14, 1983 in Paris) is a French actor.
He has starred in the films: The Dreamers by Bernardo Bertolucci and Ma mère.
He is the son of Philippe Garrel, a director, and Brigitte Sy, a director and actress. His grandfather is Maurice Garrel and his godfather is actor Jean-Pierre Léaud, both of them also famous French actors.
His personal accomplishments include: speaking French, English, and Italian. He is a graduate of the Paris Conservatory. He was awarded the 2006 Cesar Award for Best Male Newcomer for his work in Les Amants réguliers, directed by his father. According to an interview with Michael Pitt in the New York Daily News, Garrel, just before the shooting the first nude scene in The Dreamers, ran nude through every room on the set screaming. The prank broke the tension and ”loosened everybody up.”
