此首《Out of the Rain》Tony Joe White所,80年代晚期,Colter和Jennings曾合唱此曲但未表,此次收在中,也加入了Tony Joe White演唱的一段,以及the Greater Apostolic Christ Temple Choir ( 大使徒基督殿合唱?) 的合音。此曲融合了福音、村曲,曲也甚美,但未另行曲。

 Jessi Colter於1969嫁Waylon Jennings,1975,以一首《I'm Not Lisa》拿下了村榜的冠。

  以下另夫妻的唱,Jennings唱的是原曲《The Wild Side of Life》( Hank Tompson/1952) 的部分歌,Colter是唱回歌《It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels》( Kitty Wells/1952) 的歌,具趣味性,而人均原歌做了少的更改。
Out of the rain, under the shelter
I've been so long where the sun don't shine
 Standin' at the cross-roads
 Could've went either way
 But now I've found you
 And the storm is behind

(Out of the rain, out of the rain)

Over the wall, I'm out in the open
Back on the right track, I'm feeling no pain
You took a Sparrow and let it fly with the Eagles
I can see a long ways, I can feel love again

(Out of the rain, out of the rain, yeah)

There was a time I was taking no prisoners
Standin' with a cold heart, standin' alone (all alone)
It took your sweet love (sweet love)
To pull me out of the canyon
I believe that I can make it now (I can make it, yeah)
 I feel I belong

(Out of the rain, out of the rain, yeah)
(Out of the rain, out of the rain, Lord)
《The Wild Side of Life/ Honky Tonk Angels》
You wouldn't read my letter if I wrote you
You asked me not to call you on the phone
But there's something I'm wanting to tell you
So I wrote it in the words of this song

I didn't know God made honky tonk angels
I might have known you'd never make a wife
You gave up the only one that ever loved you
And went back to the wild side of life
As I sit here tonight the jukebox playing
The tune about the wild side of life
As I listen to the words you are saying
It brings memories when I was a trusting wife
It wasn't God who made honky tonk angels
As you said in the words of your song
There's many times married men think they're still single
That has caused many a good girl to go wrong
I didn't know God made honky tonk angels
I might have known you'd never make a wife
There's many times married men think they're still single
And went back to the wild side of life
