2021，美村歌手Alan Jackson行了他的第21《Where Have You Gone》，的成甚佳，除了得AllMusic的好，在英、美的村排行榜分得到第1、2名。此首《The Older I Get》亦收於中，但此曲前於2017已先以曲行，入榜，恐大出Alan和唱片公司的期。一首不的歌，遭到如此下，令人不解。
Alan Jackson於1983 ( 25 ) 出道，算一算至今也唱了近40年，Alan在台的也到了可搭乘「老人票」的年，由他此曲不具服力，且感歌喉由月的洗，益的深厚、沉。歌中：Funny how it feels I'm just getting to my best years yet，於入老年的生活是否是best year，此恐未便同 ( 以台而言，比不上年「意」的那些日子吧！)，但可定的是，老年的生活能心所欲、且自在。
此曲非「老歌」，而是「老人歌」。呵呵呵！
