此首《Goodbye Yellow Brick Road》如同以往，由Elton John的歌搭Bernie Taupin，Elton John自己曲，收在1973行的同名中，曲然在英、美排行榜只分得第6及第2名，唱片在美大，得金唱片(1974)及白金唱片(1995)的。此曲受的好，有些甚至是Elton John最好的一首歌。
由歌名直，是《再了！路》，而「Yellow Brick Road」其是引用1939改自童故事的影《The Wizard of Oz》( 台：野仙 )，影中的女主角桃 ( Dorothy ) 犬著稻草人、人及子就是由「路」出，前往Oz ( )，找他各自希望得的「」、「心」及「勇」，最後然都「如以」，而其些都是他早已俱的，只是信心及未努力去掘了。
此曲所表述的，是在追求成功的路上，然接到富和，受到多不平和欺凌，而悟回到原的生活才是幸福。如同《野仙》一行人抵了Oz的翡翠城 ( Emerald City )，才知士 ( The Wizard of Oz ) 施法只是局 ( 寓意追的目只是幻？)，而桃最後也是如回到原叔父母居住生活的。
2010，此曲在石500最佳歌曲中排名第380。
