1964，美村歌手Buck Owens行了一曲《I've Got A Tiger By The Tail》，得了村榜的冠，而B面首由他自己所的《Crying Time》，排行榜的都摸到。
不，美盲人歌手Ray Charles得此曲合他的格，而在1966翻唱。其，Ray Charles在之前的1962，同是翻唱村歌曲---Don Gibson的《I Can't Stop Loving You》(1957)，已了甜 ( 在美、英排行榜都得了冠 )。而次依葫，然在告示牌排行榜只得到第6名，在1967他得了「最佳奏唱片」及「最佳奏唱歌手」的座葛美。
翻唱此曲的歌手多，乎知名的村歌手都到了，如：Skeeter Davis、Brenda Lee、Martina McBride、George Jones & Tammy Wynette、Marty Robbins、Freddy Fender……，流行歌手有Elvis Presley、Roy Orbison、Dean Martin、Connie Francis等等等等。美女演兼歌手Barbra Streisand和Ray Charles合唱的版本，收在 Streisand 1973的中 ( 1974的另有人唱版 )。美村女歌手Lorrie Morgan1993的影《The Beverly Hillbillies》( 台：豪新人 ) 演唱此曲作插曲，其版本在村曲 / 插曲排行榜只得第59名。
女友找到更好的象要了，心碎之下，掉或免，而搞到要crying，以「男有不」的方文化，感似乎有太了些。^^
