此曲於1978行後，得了英排行榜的冠 ( ABBA在英的第13首冠曲，也是《Knowing Me, Knowing You》及《The Name of the Game》後，第3首的冠曲。)。另在澳洲、比利、及墨西哥亦冠，在加拿大、德、西、瑞士和美第3名。
美共和的重量人物John McCain ( 翰侃 ) 是ABBA的大粉，在2008代表，曾言若，在白所有的梯播放ABBA的歌曲，也一度想此首《Take a Chance on Me》作的主要歌曲，但在了授的相之後，被了超乎常的天而作。
