此曲英石的主唱Mick Jagger和吉他手Keith Richards共同所，1965得英排行榜的第1名，也是石在英的第3首冠曲。在美的榜第9名。
是此曲Jagger和Richards所作，但和美家庭合唱The Staple Singers在1958所行的福音歌曲《This May be the Last Time》，由歌名和歌中的「I Don't Know」，就被The Staple Singers的歌迷是剽，但原曲是自於流的黑奴歌曲，也定真正的版於。2003，Richards於承，他的有考了曲，但重新整曲及加上穿全曲的吉他主奏。也有多人相信，由於有使用到歌，石私下付了The Staple Singers一。
石自1962成立，基本上都是翻唱他人的歌曲，此曲自歌曲的初啼，是有摸到了，未月就再推出了真正流行的成名曲《(I Can't Get No ) Satisfaction》。
1965，Andrew Oldham Orchestra此曲改演奏版本，收在其《The Rolling Stones Songbook》中。1997，The Verve一首名《Bitter Sweet Symphony》的歌曲，就是使用了此演奏版的音，石之前的理Allen Klein，有《The Last Time》的版，也因此得到一些延伸的版。
