前天，在上的收音到了首《Marvin Gaye》，感有些老歌的味道，回家後查了料，竟然是2015的新歌，而且成亮眼，在英、及西均得排行榜的冠。
首歌的是年23的美歌手兼曲作家Charlie Puth ( 查理 普斯 )。之前此位仁兄他另位歌手Wiz Khalifa合作的歌曲《See You Again》( 影《玩命7》的片尾曲 ) 上到YouTube，不因而名大噪升的歌手，歌曲也大大。而在此首《Marvin Gaye》中他合唱的女歌手Meghan Tarinor ( 梅根 崔娜 ) 更是炸子，2015曾「年度最佳歌曲、唱片」葛美的提名。
Marvin Gaye是60年代摩城 ( Motown ) 唱片公司旗下的著名歌手，有「摩城王子」和「魂王子」的。可惜在45生日的前夕 ( 1984 )，在家中因生被父了二身亡。其父後以故意人罪被起，但由於查罹患了瘤，Marvin Gaye在也有毒品物留，其父最後是被判了6年刑。
依Charlie Puth的法，他了不少Marvin Gaye的歌，Marvin Gaye後期慢抒情的奏和魂曲，曾深深打了人的心，他除了也想作出同深情款款的歌曲，也希望歌曲能生助的效果。他的想法是：由於自己的性是於害羞腆型的，看到喜的女生也不敢上前搭要。或以後在收音或酒吧中到首歌，可以成一打破冷的「梗」，藉此走向你/喜的象：『Hey! Let's Marvin Gaye and get it on.』。
