首《Hello I Love You》是美The Doors在1968所推出的〈Wating For The Sun〉中的歌曲，同年另行曲，得美排行榜的冠及售超百的金唱片。也是The Doors首度打入英排行榜的曲 ( # 15 )。

首歌的作是The Doors的主唱Jim Morrison某日和手Ray Manzarek人在海看一位漂亮的女孩而生的感，日下午就歌完成在事本上。而直到三年後在上述的，由於Morrison喝了太多的酒，使得音工作法再行下去，鼓手Densmore得放要退出，其他定要翻看Morrison的小事本，期透他的容安他使他冷下，而首《Hello I Love You》也因此被挖了出。

但不巧的是，首歌的一些重覆小段的旋律，被指控抄英The Kinks主唱Ray Davis所作的《All Day and All of the Night》。而The Doors的吉他手予以否，只歌曲中的音手法，是得自於Creams的《Sunshine of Your Love》(161)。但英法庭可不，判首歌曲在英的作曲版，要於Ray Davis。

Jim Morrison也算是奇性的人物，而後因嗜酒及物成，最後被死在位於巴黎的公寓浴缸中，他才27。
