由於60年代那的「」率高，所以一般音演唱的位或人，都用或唱片即免送演唱票的方式避。
有一年暑假，在台北中山堂有一「合唱比」，主位在所唱片的曲目中，五、六首指定曲，其中即包含有首《I Love You》。得的不是很多，大概只有4、5 ( 而好像另有「表演」 )，其中有某A唱的指定曲就是首《I Love You》。有趣的事情了，我是因有名後不克加，而造成比的短，主位只得增加程，其中入再比一次。果，哈哈，那A因未其他的指定曲，只能首《I Love You》再唱一次。
首歌是英The Zombies的士手Chris White所作，也於1965首推出，而未能打入英美排行榜。直至1968被美People翻唱，才使得首歌成流行曲，但也是People唯一的一首曲。
People的版本然只得1968告示牌百大的第14名，在世界各地像是：以色列、南非、英格……，甚至是洲的日本、菲律，均第一名的冠曲，唱片的售量也超了百。
