Job Description
We are looking for a Node.js Backend developer responsible for maintaining and writing new backend services. Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to API requests from the frontend. You will also be responsible for integrating the frontend elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of frontend technologies is necessary as well.
Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining all server-side components.
Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
Skills
At least 5 years experience as a backend developer
Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and Computer Science
Understanding fundamental design principles, have experience designing large scale/ complex system
Proficient understanding of Kubernetes, monitor system, performance optimization
Familiarity with Docker and AWS infrastructure
Familiarity with MongoDB and other databases
Knowledge of front-end technologies, like HTML, CSS, React
