Essential Day-to-day Responsibilities:
Complete the objectives of each assignment within the agreed time frame.
Analyze the new requirements and develop (design, code and unit test) software solutions.
Document solutions and provide regular updates to documentations.
Review peer's work products promptly to provide feedback.
Provide third level support to issues raised by clients.
Collaborate with architect, development, product management nd client support teams in other regions.
Education:
BS degree or above in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
Required Skills:
3 to 5 years working experience in software development projects on Linux and Windows environment.
Excellent understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented design.
In-depth understanding and hand-on experience with C++, STL, multi-threading, IPC.
Good command of English and the ability to work well in a globalized environment.
Ability to work as a team, flexible, proactive, well organized and focus objectives with high standard and quality.
Ability to thoroughly test and debug code, with a focus on test driven development
Ability to suggest new technologies, and quickly adapt to change
Desired Skills (Nice to have in addition to the Required Skills):
Familiar with Boost, XML.
Knowledge of/experience with design patterns
Experience in network programming, cross platform programming.
Experience in scripts language such as Python, Linux shell script.
Exposure to Agile methodologies
Experience in real-time programming
Experience with modern C++
Experience with AWS
Good solution provider with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including high degree of attention to details.
