Junior Node.JS Developer

ReignDesign is a multicultural creative agency. We design and develop software for mobile: responsive websites, chat bots, WeChat solutions, and apps for iOS and Android.

We work with brand-name clients like Porsche, Falabella, Nike and Sesame Street, as well as innovative startups. Since 2008 we ’ ve been helping our clients around the world from our offices in Shanghai, Barcelona, Santiago and Bangkok.

Our agile team of in-house designers, developers and business experts will help guide your project from idea to finished product.

As a Developer at ReignDesign, you'll be using the latest and greatest technologies to build breakthrough mobile and web experiences. We create apps for iOS and Android, and many of our projects involve web and backend components. This is an on-site position in Shanghai.

What you need:

Good standard of spoken and written English

Experience in:

• Node.js development - our typical stack includes Node.js, MongoDB, Mongoose, Express, Angular4, React, Redux.
• Be familiar with Aliyun, AWS, Heroku and Azure platforms, deployment techniques like pm2, Docker / Swarm, CI/CD using CircleCI / Jenkins, testing using Protractor / Jasmine / Selenium, basic knowledge of Linux (console), maintaining apps in different environments (dev, staging, prod), writing API specs, Git and Bitbucket pipelines.
• Web development experience is useful too, you should have a good knowledge of HTML and CSS, particularly using Bootstrap, Jade and Less.
• A "Get Stuff Done" mentality

It would be cool if you had:

• Experience building REST APIs for mobile apps
• Created web applications in Node.js (send us links!)
• Created Wechat mini-programs (send us links!)
• The desire to be a part of something BIG
