@Kai 不用呀，Bitbucket 也支持 git 了，而且可以直接把 Github 的仓库导过来 https://bitbucket.org/repo/import

我觉得 Bitbucket 一直以来的问题不在于是否支持 Git：

1. 它的访问速度很慢，不管是 Web 界面还是 git 操作接口

2. UI 设计没有 Github 那么用心。可以对比一下 Bitbucket 和 Github 的 Issue Tracking 界面

这两点是我自己在使用过程中感受最深的，所以今年4月开始我就放弃 Bitbucket 了。开源的项目我用 Github，私有项目就放在 Dropbox 和 VPS 上。

等我解决信用卡的问题之后就会去升级 Github 帐号……

@chloerei Bitbucket 背后的 Atlassian 自己还有一些更赚钱的严肃产品比如 JIRA。

@chloerei Bitbucket 肯定也考虑过这个问题。

实际上你的项目大了之后加入的 collaborator 超过规定上限时，就要给 Bitbucket 付费了。

个体用户的 private code 一般也不会太大（超过 1MB 都很了不起了），对 Bitbucket 而言几乎不增加成本。

而且现在全免的好处是可以吸引更多 startup 小团队到 Bitbucket 来，这对 Bitbucket 的发展绝对是有好处的。

再者 Github 的社群效应越来越大，如果 Bitbucket 没有新动作的话等于坐以待毙。到最后就不是靠什么发展，而是没机会发展了。

现在在用付费的 github，问题就在于就算付费了私有项目的个数还是很受限制。希望会有所变化。

一直在用bitbucket，作为项目的仓库
挺好用。也不算太慢。关键免费啊。

github是ruby on rails的。
bitbucket是python的。
