诱导范数(也称从属范数/下属范数):在线性代数与泛函分析中,由某个向量范数线性算子或矩阵上“诱导”出来的范数。对矩阵 \(A\) 而言,诱导范数通常定义为
\[ \|A\|=\max_{x\neq 0}\frac{\|Ax\|}{\|x\|} \] 直观上表示:矩阵 \(A\) 对向量长度(按所选向量范数度量)的最大放大倍数。常见特例包括由 \(\ell_2\) 向量范数诱导的 spectral norm(谱范数)

induced 来自拉丁语 inducere(引入、导致),在数学里常指“由已有结构自然导出/定义”。norm 来自拉丁语 norma(木匠用的直角尺、准则),后来引申为“标准、尺度”,在数学中表示“长度/大小的度量”。因此 induced norm 字面即“由某种度量规则导出的范数”。
